I think this ship is full of water up front also that front end got to have huge cracks all the way to the bottom I would not be suprized if there going to need to weld or patch it to ever flout again it’s on the floor of the water next to the trench that ships go thru so it’s like part way beached on muddy slimmy clay there going to need to pull that off of there or use cranes to pull it up pump water out before they can try and flout it of it could over turn or sink not that the water is super deep but if half is in the trench and half off that ship could flout side ways and end up on its side dumping all them canistars in the water there going to need to be super careful that front end is still super low in the water to just have that read bed on it only ? I think it’s really busted up all the way down in the front end that concrete is super heavy also so it could come up sone getting that off hey JEFF you are one of the best people for this step by step news each day for us on UA-cam your better then most of the news people on tv it’s crazy how well you cover every step of this clean up of the bridge your telling us things about stuff most people would never even know about .!! but because of you sir we are almost right there on the boats watching every day thank you I could never get bored of any of your videos I have watched every one .!!! I wonder why they don't use separate barges to transport smaller pieces. That way the cranes can stay on the job. They would need one smaller crane at the destination site. If the pieces were too heavy for the smaller crane they could have cutters break it down to sizes it could handle. This should get then more time with the big cranes working on the wreck. Just a thought.

Since the anchor chain feeds out from the bow, it seems that would explain why the ship pulled to the right before impact. There was likely enough chain on the floor of the bay/river to start to tug on the ship.

Why did they not close HR2 and LR2 in order to re-energize the 440v buss?

At 8:34 we see the ship's anchor windlass that has been crushed under bridge debris. This appears to be the port-side windlass where a Dali crew member had been standing just seconds before the collision. (The starboard windlass appears at 6:42.) The crew member testified that he had to run to escape the collapsing bridge! A second crew member was injured at this point, the only injury suffered amongst the ship's crew. That information is recorded in the NTSB preliminary report.

Your mother didn't live in SW Missouri at some point, did she? I hope you don't take offense; the question is real and not meant to cause any issues.
